His Holiness the Sakya Trizin and the Khon Family in Australia 2009
His Holiness the Sakya Trizin's Golden Jubilee Australian tour concluded with a special Long Life Initiation (Amitayus) bestowed by His Holiness the Sakya Trizin, Long Life Ceremony and Farewell Dinner, on Saturday 11 July, to honour His Holiness and celebate his Golden Jubilee.
These events were hosted by the Sakya centres of Sydney (Drogmi Retreat Centre, Sakya Tharpa Ling, Kyegu Buddhist Institute and Sakya Dolma Choe Ling). The dinner was most generously catered for by the Tibetan Community of New South Wales and the events were attended by many local Tibetans including Atisha-la, His Holiness the Dalai Lama's representative in Australia.
